The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it is alarmed about the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's sassa status check no completely functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance point created for intervention ordeals a substantial inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it difficult with the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing of all clients and increase use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
